Derek England serves as the Product Manager for Designcenter NX Design, with a dedicated focus on the AEC/BIM and Energy and Utilities industries. Joining Siemens in 1997, Derek initially played a key role in sales support, providing mentorship to customers and delivering impactful product demonstrations and benchmarks. His transition to product management in 2002 allowed him to directly influence Designcenter NX, working hand-in-hand with customers to align product functionality with their design processes. In 2012, Derek’s expertise was leveraged to optimize NX design specifically for Aerospace and Defense workflows. Recognizing a new frontier, he embraced the role of Product Manager for AEC/BIM and Energy and Utilities in 2019, where he now ensures Designcenter NX is perfectly tailored for these dynamic industries.
