Ewa is a qualified UK architect with a decade of industry experience, including Purcell, Adjaye Associates and Delugan Meissl. She studied and worked in Vienna, Los Angeles, Accra, Cambridge and London. Howie was born from her personal frustration and determination to bring a better operating system to the built environment sector she’s passionate about transforming.

Established in 2024, Howie is an AI tool designed to assist architects and engineers by automating tasks, optimizing designs, and enhancing workflow efficiency. It acts as a digital copilot, leveraging AI to streamline professional processes.

This talk explores how an “AI layer”, built on structured knowledge, version-aware retrieval, and emerging knowledge graphs, can evolve into a predictive system for practice. Not by replacing architects and engineers, but by enabling them to orchestrate existing knowledge across projects.
