Holger Kreienbrink’s professional journey is a testament to the value of hands-on experience and technological curiosity. He began his career with an apprenticeship as a bricklayer, initially envisioning a future as a construction manager. However, his path shifted when he pursued architecture studies in Hannover and Madrid, where he discovered a passion for computer-aided design—a passion that evolved into a deep expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM).
In 2001, Holger joined Graphisoft, taking responsibility for the German version of Archicad. Over the years, he built an extensive network and developed a profound knowledge of the architecture and construction software industry. His commitment to innovation and collaboration has made him a key figure within the company and the broader BIM community.
Since 2022, Holger has been part of Graphisoft’s international product management team. In this role, he is responsible for product telemetry, providing critical insights to guide product managers, and for fostering partnerships that expand the ecosystem of software solutions around Graphisoft’s core products, Archicad and MEP Designer.
Outside of his professional life, Holger expresses his creativity as a musician in a rock band and enjoys restoring and driving his classic car
