Ian Keough is the CEO of Hypar, a simple, intelligent, building design application. He’s spent over a decade building tools that automate building design and analysis. Before Hypar, Ian was the software architect for Autodesk’s AEC Generative Design team, where he worked on Dynamo, the open-source visual programming tool he invented for Revit. Ian joined Autodesk after the acquisition of Vela Systems, which had acquired his app goBIM—the first BIM viewer for iOS—developed during his time at Buro Happold. He holds a BFA in Sculpture from the University of Michigan and a Master’s in Architecture from Parsons.
Early-stage building design is still stuck in PDFs, email threads, and rebuilding models. Hypar is changing that. Join us to see how leading firms are moving seamlessly from bubbles to BIM while collaborating across design options, and how the next generation of Hypar’s intelligence will unlock live building design.
How close are we to having viable alternatives to BIM 1.0? Snaptrude, Motif, Arcol, Hypar, Qonic and Autodesk discuss BIM 2.0 and how the next 18 months to 2 years will be essential to having alternative modelling tools powered by AI.
