Jon Friedman is the President and co-founder of Freight Farms, a company that provides physical and digital solutions for creating local produce ecosystems on a global scale.
Freight Farms’ flagship product, the Leafy Green Machine, is an automated, hydroponic farm enclosed in an insulated shipping container, which allows anyone to start growing produce locally regardless of the geographic location. The LGM can be monitored and controlled remotely through the company’s app, Farmhand.
