Mike began his career as a laser scanning surveyor in the UK, using both static and mobile technologies, servicing a range of industries including energy, infrastructure and buildings, before joining PointFuse as a technical specialist in 2017. He joined Autodesk’s Reality Solutions team as a product owner as part of the acquisition of PointFuse, where he now combines his software and industry experience to help deliver ReCap’s vision for the future of Reality Capture at Autodesk.
Point clouds and models derived by photogrammetry are dumb. This panel will look at how AI is increasingly being applied to point clouds and images to deliver intelligent models, and discuss the latest in SLAM and reality capture.
