Vishu is an Associate at Zaha Hadid Architects, where he co-administers the Computation and Design group (ZHA CODE). He leads the development of a state-of-the-art, proprietary computational code framework to synthesize high-performance geometries and consequently enables their structural optimisation, parametric modeling and coordination. Since joining Zaha Hadid Architects, he has been involved in several design competitions and commissions ranging from technology demonstrators, products, galleries, stadiums, metro stations, residential buildings, masterplans etc. to designing for the metaverse and gaming industry.
Vishu, a masters graduate from Architectural Association Design Research Lab, is also a Lecturer at Architectural Computation, University College of London (UCL).
Zaha Hadid Architects (ZHA) have collaboratively evolved expertise and proprietary technologies at the intersection of spatial user-experience, interaction, and design with computational technologies of algorithmic 3D geometry creation, gaming & MMO, and user-analytics.
ZHA also has long-standing expertise in developing 3D spatial and architectural assets by adapting so-called Digital Content Creation (DCC) tool sets that are commonly used in the computer graphics, animation, and video game industries.
The presentation will showcase a so-called spatial technology stack, which compared to the current and dominant BIM 1.0 based architectural technologies, provides a powerful technological basis for engaging and responsible design, both online and on-land.
