NXT BLD Talk

Purpose-built AI for MEP Engineering

MEP engineers sit at the most technically demanding end of the building design process. This talk introduces Endra: the Omniverse-like platform for MEP engineering, built to treat their work as the connected, physics-based, knowledge-rich discipline it actually is.

The session opens with the founder story behind Endra and the mission that drives the company. From there, the talk moves into the real problems MEP teams face today, both at a human and a technical level: fragmented workflows, lost institutional knowledge, and the manual rework that consumes their time.

The core of the talk unpacks what Endra actually does — bringing Spatial AI, routing, circuiting, load balancing, cable and breaker sizing, duct sizing, voltage drops, and physics-based simulation into a single connected environment, natively integrated with Revit. The audience will understand how this differs structurally from existing Revit-based workflows, and what comes out on the other side.

The proof point is a UK customer who took an electrical design workflow from 380 hours to 8 hours using Endra. From there, the talk looks ahead to where the industry is heading: engineering firms productizing their knowledge, scaling with technology, and bringing entirely new products to market — backed by Endra’s $50M R&D commitment over the next five years.

The talk closes with insights from Endra’s CEO, Niklas Lindgren, on where the industry is heading — and how MEP engineering organizations can be part of it.
