Jon is the SVP of Global Software at Stratasys Inc and is in charge of the company’s complete software portfolio.
Prior to acquisition by Stratasys, Jon was the VP of Technology at GrabCAD, changing how engineers work. With over 2 million registered members, GrabCAD is the world’s biggest and fastest growing community of mechanical engineers and CAD professionals.
Before joining GrabCAD Jon served as the Executive VP and General Manager of the MCAD group at PTC, leading a team of 2,000 and a business of $770 Million/year.
Before moving to Boston, Jon was the Managing Director of Shape Data in Cambridge, UK (the developers of the Parasolid solid modeling engine) and the senior director of product development of Unigraphics, now Siemens PLM, in sunny Southern California.
Jon has received patents for his work in both CAD/CAM and Software Application Security.
